Arasmus is my personal online notepad, in which I hope to elucidate and develop some of the thoughts and ideas that go through my head.  At its least ambitious, it hopes to satisfy the warning of Plato that a life unreflected upon is a life not worth living.  Beyond that necessary domestic hygiene, I hope that these reflections will draw forth the opinions of others who either share or virulently disagree with the conclusions found herein.  It is my greatest ambition to learn from both.
